Wanted

We constantly strive for quality in our birds. In order to maintain good healthy stock, it is essential that we use a diverse gene pool in our breeding.

Each year as we introduce new breeds or new varieties / colours of our own breeds we must bring in new stock.

When we use pullets of our current breeding pens we must bring in a new bloodline to keep our birds healthy.

Bringing in new bloodlines is only part of our breeding programme as we are constantly improving our stock in terms of appearance, egg laying capacity and meat production. Any introduced blood is tried and tested before we continue to breed from its progeny.

Our optimum bird will be healthy and disease resistant, comply with breed standards and produce good muscle and / or a satisfactory number of eggs depending on whether it is bred for meat, for eggs or for both. Although we maintain breed standards, our priority is to breed utility birds rather than birds for show.

We are currently seeking the following:

Waterfowl...

Bantam...

Please contact us if you have fertile eggs, chicks or young birds for sale in either of the above breeds.

Only healthy, good quality purebred birds from unrelated stock are considered.
